Information RIOS processes

With the merchant’s authorization, RIOS reads Wix site identity, currency, eCommerce orders, order lines, discounts, taxes, shipping charges, refunds, product and variant identifiers, and available merchant unit costs. RIOS does not need customer names, customer email addresses, shipping addresses, or marketing profiles for its FP&A functions.

RIOS stores only the commerce fields needed for financial analysis, along with merchant-entered financial assumptions and targets, saved decision records, app-plan status, synchronization state, and limited operational metadata needed to secure and operate the service.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate the installed Wix app instance, calculate financial metrics and forecasts, reconcile commerce changes, display data-quality limits, enforce plan access, maintain security, support the merchant, and meet Wix App Market requirements. RIOS does not sell merchant or buyer data and does not use Wix commerce data to advertise unrelated services.

Commerce-cache minimization

The production cache deliberately stores a reduced order and refund shape used by the RIOS financial engine rather than a full Wix order object. Buyer identity, recipient details, addresses, and unrelated commerce fields are not written to the RIOS order cache.

Sharing and service providers

Information may be processed by infrastructure, database, logging, and support providers used to operate RIOS, subject to contractual and security controls. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or to investigate abuse and protect the service. A current subprocessor list is available from the privacy contact.

Retention and deletion

RIOS retains site configuration, decision records, and the reduced commerce cache while the app is installed or as needed to provide the service. The app-removal webhook triggers deletion of records associated with that Wix app instance. Merchants may also request access, correction, or deletion by contacting the privacy address below, subject to legal obligations.

Security and international processing

RIOS uses HTTPS in transit, restricted production secrets, Wix app-instance authentication, verified signed webhooks, same-origin form protections, and access controls appropriate to the service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Depending on the selected infrastructure providers, information may be processed outside the merchant’s country with appropriate contractual safeguards.
